SUN SCALE & METAL CONTROL II, a highly effective chlorine resistant formula that controls and removes fresh stains caused by metals such as copper, iron, and manganese that are present in swimming pool water. Regular use of SUN SCALE & METAL CONTROL II will also prevent mineral scale formation on pool surfaces, piping, filtration and heating elements or cores.

1.PREVENTS STAINS by tying up heavy metals such as copper, iron, and manganese.
2.REMOVES FRESH STAINS by pulling metal off pool surfaces to be removed by a filter aid.
3.PREVENTS SCALE build up by tying up excessive calcium and minerals.

This product's chlorine resistant formula keeps your pool protected from staining and scale buildup.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Read entire label and use strictly in accordance with hazard warnings and directions.

PROBLEM SOLVING USAGE DIRECTIONS
1. Backwash filter-then allow pump to run continously.
2. For each 1 ppm of metal present in the water, add 1 quart of SUN STAIN & METAL CONTROL II for each 10,000 gallons of water. (Max dosage is 3 quarts per 10,000 gallons)
3. Run the pump continuously for 48 hours after the addition.

MAINTENANCE DOSAGE DIRECTIONS:
1. With pump operating, add 16 oz. of SUN SCALE & METAL CONTROL II per 10,000 gallons on a monthly basis directly to pool water.

FRESH METAL STAIN REMOVAL DIRECTIONS:
1. Turn the pump off and allow to set for a minimum of 8 hours - DO NOT swim during this period.
2. Pour 1-3 quarts of SUN SCALE & METAL CONTRL II over the stain or as close to the stain as possible. Quantity used is dependent upon extent and age of stain.
3. Do not swim or start the pump for a minimum of 24 hours.
