BLACK ALGAE TREATMENT is a 90% Trichlor granular product which kills black algae in WHITE plaster pools. NOT FOR USE IN VINYL OR PAINTED POOLS.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1. Turn off the filter pump before beginning application.
2. Do not use pool while it is being treated.
3. Sprinkle BLACK ALGAE TREATMENT directly over those areas where algae appears. Use up to
1 lb. per 10,000 gallons of pool water. For severe cases, the dosage may be doubled.
4. The filter pump can be turned on after treatment has been in the pool for at least 8 hours.
5. Brush pool and vacuum.
6. Repeat the above treatment if necessary.
7. Do not use the pool until chlorine residual has dropped to 3 ppm or less as determined by reliable test kit.
8. Adjust the pH to 7.2 - 7.6.
9. Maintain the chlorine residual at 1.0 - 3.0 ppm.
