Leak Sealer: Directions for Use
IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF THE LOCATION OF THE LEAK, USE THE FIRST METHOD BELOW
Application to seal leak in piping: (Remove filter before use)
1. Add SeaKlear Leak Sealer directly into the skimmer. Set up a pool vacuum hose with the vacuum head at the deepest point in the pool. Ensure that the hose is free of air ensuring maximum circulation through the pump.
2. After 30 minutes turn pump on. Let pump run for a minimum of 8 hours. Mark water level and check it in 24 hours, a second application may be required in larger pools.
3. Return the filter setting to normal once SeaKlear Leak Sealer has taken effect and resume normal filtration.
4. Backwash or clean filter within 48 hours of treatment.
5. Resume swimming 24 hours after treatment.
Application to seal leak in pool surface:
1. Add SeaKlear Leak Sealer directly to the water in the area of the leak if you can locate it OR distribute the product over the surface of the water.
2. After 30 minutes turn pump on. Let pump run for a minimum of 8 hours.
3. Mark water level and check it in 24 hours, a second application may be required.
4. Resume normal filtration once the leak sealer has taken effect.
5. Backwash or clean filter within 48 hours of treatment.
6. Resume swimming 24 hours after treatment.
