Spa Essentials DEFOAMER quickly eliminates and prevents foaming in spas and hot tubs.
Measurement and Dosing: Use all level measurements. 1 tablespoon or 2 capfuls or 1/2 oz. per 600 gallons of water.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Read entire label and use strictly in accordance with precautionary statements and directions.
1.Add 1/2 oz. or 2 capfuls of DEFOAMER per 600 gallons of water or 1 teaspoon per 200 gallons.
2.Pour directly into water with pump running.
3.The amount of DEFOAMER required depends on the nature and quanity of foam present.
4.If foaming persists repeat this dose as needed to control foaming.
NOTE: Soaps or detergents may cause excessive foaming requiring large quanities of this product.
SPA MAINTENANCE TIPS:
1.Test spa water a minimum of once a week.
2.Keep water pH between 7.2 and 7.6.
3.Keep total alkalinity at 100 ppm - 150 ppm and calcium hardness at 150 - 300 ppm.
4.Refill residential spas and hot tubs every 60 days, heavy use commercial spas every 4 days, and norman use commercial spas every 8 days.
5.At refill time, clean spa surfaces with Spa Essentials SURFACE CLEANER.
6.Backwash filter and clean with Spa Essentials FILTER CLEANER a minimum of every 60 days. |
