ALKALINITY INCREASER raises total alkalinity in spa water. Low total alkalinity may cause spa water to be corrosive to metal and may result in staining, etching or distorting of all types of spa surfaces. Proper alkalinity helps to prevent these problems and also eliminates pH bounce
by buffering the water against large pH changes. Total alkalinity in spa water should be maintained in the range of 125-150 ppm.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Add directly to spa water with pump and filter running 1-1/2 oz. (2-1/2 Tablespoons) per 250 gallons of water will raise total alkalinity 25 parts per million. Refer to Addition Chart on bottle to determine amount needed to correctly balance spa water. |
