Routine testing of pool or spa water is important. 4-WAY TEST STRIPS are a quick,easy, and reliable way to measure Total Available Bromine, Free Available Chlorine(Sanitizer), pH and total Alkalinity. At the beginning of each pool season or with a new pool or spa the water should be tested 4 to 5 times a week, until the appropriate levels of Total Available Bromine, Free Available Chlorine(Sanitizer), pH and Total Alkalinity have been established. Then the water should be tested once or twice a week . Testing shoulc be done on the same day of week and at the same time of day and before adding products. Testing makes it possible to detect changes in water and prevent problems from developing.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1. Dip entire strip into water and remove immediately.
2. Hold strip level for 15 seconds (do not shake excess water from strip).
3. Compare Total Available Bromine, Free Available Chlorine (Sanitizer), pH and Total Alkalinity pads (in that order) to color chart on label.
IMPORTANT: Keep cap on tight between uses. Store at room temperature.
NOTE: Pools and spas will be sanitized by chlorine or bromine but not both. In chlorine sanitized pools or spas you will only test for Total Available Chlorine. In bromine sanitized pools or spas you will only test for Total Available Bromine. |
