ACTIVE INGREDIENT:
Sodium Bisulfate: 95% | Spa Down is used to lower the pH of spa and hot tub water. It is important to maintain pH between 7.2-7.8. High pH (above 7.8) can cause scaling and/or cloudy or colored water. This product is compatible with bromine, chlorine and biguanide sanitizers.
The spa water should be tested every other day with LeisureTimes 4-Way Test Strips or a reliable test kit. Spa Down should be used as necessary.
Directions for Use
NOTE: For best results, dissolve granular products first by adding to a small, plastic pail filled with water. Then, apply the solution to the spa water.
1. Make sure all equipment is OFF.
2. Add 1/4 oz. (1 1/2 tsp.)Spa Down to the spa water.
3. Turn on circulation system for 30 minutes.
Retest water. If pH is still above 7.8, repeat steps 1-3.
DANGER
Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or cloting. This product can cause acid burns. Wash thoroughly after handling. It is harmful and poisonous if taken internally. (Note: when used as directed, this dry acid in solution with water is not classed as poisonous.) Do not store this product with any other chemical-mix only with water.
FIRST AID: External: Flush with water for 15 minutes. Internal: Drink large quantities of water. Follow with milk of magnesia, vegetable oil, or beaten egg. Call physician immediately. If in eyes, wash with water for 15 minutes. GET MEDICAL ATTENTION PROMPTLY.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
Store in cool, dry area out of the reach of children. Keep container closed when not in use. Rinse empty container with water and place in trash collecion.
