Stain Solution # 2 by Jacks Magic
| | 5 LB. | $31.95 | Out Of Stock |
| To be used with The Blue Stuff, Stain Solution #2, The Copper & Scale Stuff is an extremely effective stain removal product. While it is designed primarily for copper and scale removal, it also removes a wide variety of other conditions as well. As usual, it’s extremely important (if you want to be successful with our products anyway) that you first use a Topical Kit to determine which product most effectively removes your particular stain.
Directions for Use:
1) Add 1/2 gallon muriatic acid per 10,000 gallons 2) Add Jack's Blue Stuff at a rate of 1 Quart per 10,000 gallons. 3) Add 10 lbs. Stain Solution #2 per 10,000 gallons water 4)Brush pool making sure all product is dissolved 5) Circulate pool continuously during the treatment which could be as soon as 48 hours and as long as 2 weeks. 6) Once a week during treatment, clean filter, add chlorine (or other sanitizer). DO NOT SHOCK and raise the Blue Stuff or Purple Stuff levels to 20 ppm. 7) After stains are removed (make take several weeks) SLOWLY begin rebalancing the water.
Once you’ve determined that Stain Solution #2 is right for you, it is important to follow the water balance instructions included with the product. Most unsuccessful stain removal treatments can be traced back to water balance parameters that did not fall within our guidelines for treatment!
Stain Solution #2 is an acidic product and care should be taken not to use it with a heater that can not be bypassed. If Stain Solution #2 is your appropriate treatment and your heater can not be bypassed, you should use The Blue Stuff only, which will take longer, but will not be damaging to the sensitive heater element.
It is also important to be patient with any stain removal treatment that uses Stain Solution #2... it can take, on average, a week to ten days (and longer in more extreme cases) for the stains to be removed. You should not swim during this time, but we’re sure you’ll think the end result is worth the wait!
