The Pink Stuff (Metal Solution) is the “original” Jack’s Magic stain prevention product. While it’s older than the others, it still is stronger and more effective than the competetors. The Pink Stuff can be used under “normal” circumstances and is a great all-around sequestering agent. It works by grabbing and removing metallic contaminants through the pool’s filtration system.
While The Pink Stuff will work on a variety of things, it is most effective on iron and is generally used with Stain Solution #1 in stain removal treatments.
Unlike most stain preventatives, The Pink Stuff Metal Solution is chlorine tolerant under normal conditions. Most products require you to lower the chlorine level in order for the product to be effective... not with ours.
Dosage:
1 Qt. per 10,000 Gallons initially, followed by 6-8 oz. per 10,000 gallons per week |
