Jack’s Magic O2 Safe Shock is not your typical non-chlorine shock. It’s not the same product that is found at your local pool store in one-pound bags. O2 Safe Shock was designed to be used in conjunction with Jack’s Magic Stain Solution #2, The Copper & Scale Stuff to help remove grey to black copper stains. As always, it is important to use a Topical Kit to determine exactly which products are needed to treat your particular staining problem.
O2 Safe Shock can also be used as an effective acid wash pre-treatment. The use of O2 Safe Shock prior to acid washing helps to break the bond that is adhering the stain to the finish. By breaking this bond, you can generally use a lower strength acid solution and remove stains more effectively. We must point out that when used as directed, our stain removal chemicals are less aggressive to the finish of the pool than even the most gentle acid wash and should be your first choice for stain removal.
