X-CHANGE is a unique formula that allows converting pools using polymeric biguanide sanitizers (Baquacil and Softswim) to chlorine without draining or closing the pool for an extended period. This product is safe for use in all types of pools including gunite, concrete and vinyl.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
For conversion to work properly a floating chlorine feeder or inline chemical feeder is needed. Use 32 ounces of X-CHANGE for every 15,000 gallons of pool water.
1.Add X-CHANGE to a pail filled with water and disperse around the entire perimeter of the pool.
2. Place one 3 inch chlorine tablet per 15,000 gallons into the floater or inline feeder.
3. Allow tablet(s) to dissolve thoroughly and replace with an additional tablet(s). Test polymeric biguanide sanitizer level every other day.
4. If polymeric biguanide level is above 5 ppm, repeat step 2.
5. When polymeric biguanide level drops below 5 ppm: A. Shock treat pool with OXY-BRITE to eliminate contaminants.
B. Wait 24 hours and shock treat with chlorine to establish a chlorine residual and start routine chlorine sanitizing.
NOTE: Follow manufacturer's recommendations to determine pressure at which filter should be cleaned. Use GLB'S FILTER CLEANSE or FILTER FRESH for best results. |
