SUPER SEQUA-SOL provides protection against scale, stains and rust caused by minerals in the water such as iron, copper, nickel, manganese, silicon and zinc. When a pool is initially filled
SUPER SEQUA-SOL should be added because fresh water supplies usually contain small quantities of stain producing minerals such as iron, copper, or manganese. After SUPER SEQUA-SOL has been added and the pool filled, filter and circulate the water overnight before adding chlorine or other pool chemicals. This will allow SUPER SEQUA-SOL to react with and prevent precipitation of minerals in the fresh water. When SUPER SEQUA-SOL is added to a pool that is already filled and in use, chlorine and other pool chemicals may be added immediately.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
It is easier to prevent rust, corrosion and scaling problems than
to cure them. An initial treatment of SUPER SEQUA-SOL is recommended when the pool is being filled and again at the start of each season.
For pool water of normal hardness and mineral content:
INITIAL TREATMENT: 10 oz. per 10,000 gallons of water.
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE: 2 oz. per 10,000 gallons of water.
For extremely hard water (over 200ppm), high iron, copper or manganese content(over 0.1ppm):
INITIAL TREATMENT: 20 oz. per 10,000 gallons of water.
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE: 2 oz. per 10,000 gallons of water. |
