| DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
1. For the initial treatment, use OXY-BRITE® at the rate of 1 Lb. per 10,000 gallons of pool water.
2. Subsequent treatment for most residential pools with normal bathing loads should be made once every week at the rate of 1 Lb. per 10,000 gallons of pool water. More frequent treatment may be required in commercial or public pools with heavy bathing loads.
OXY-BRITE contains no chlorine or other disinfectant and should be used for SHOCK TREATING ONLY. For routine disinfection of the pool water, use an EPA registered disinfectant according to its directions.
HOW TO APPLY
Apply the required amount of OXY-BRITE into the pool water. Add the total amount at one time and concentrate the dosage mainly in the deep end of the pool.
Application should be made when no swimmers are in the pool, preferable at night. Since OxY-BRITE contains no chlorine, there is no extended waiting period before swimming may be resumed.
DANGER
Harmful if swallowed. May irritate skin, eyes, nose and throat. Keep out of eyes and off skin. Avoid inhalation of dust.
FIRST AID
In case of contact, immediately flush skin or eyes for at least 15 minutes. For eyes, call a physician. If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If swallowed, DO NOT induce vomiting. Drink 1-2 glasses of water to dilute the stomach contents. Never give anything by mouth to an unconcious person. Call a physician.
(NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: Insert gastric tube to prevent increased pressure that may result from rapid evolution of oxygen.)
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
Store this product in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight and heat to avoid deterioration. In case of spill, flood areas with large quantities of water. Product or rinsates that cannot be used should be diluted with water before disposal in a sanitary sewer. Do not reuse empty container, but place in trash collection. Do not contaminate food or feed by storage, disposal or cleaning of equipment.
PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS
HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS
DANGER: corrosive
Causes skin and eye damage. May be fatal if swallowed. Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Wear goggles or face shield and rubber gloves when handling. Irritating to nose and throat. Avoid breathing dust. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
Mix only with water, using clean, dry utensils. Do not add this product to any dispensing device containing remnants of any other product. Such use of contamination with moisture, organic matter or other chemicals, may cause a violent reaction leading to fire or liberation of hazardous gases.
In case of contamination or decomposition, do not reseal container. If possible, isolate container in open air or well-ventilated area. Flood with large amounts of water. |
